Hotel Am Springhorstsee truly exceeded my expectations with its serene location next to a picturesque lake in the heart of the Bavarian woods. The facilities were top-notch, including a charming garden and a delightful children's playground. The free WiFi was a much-appreciated bonus, allowing me to stay connected with my family back home in Munich.Even on a rainy day in late summer, the hotel offered a cozy retreat, and we made good use of the onsite restaurant, Frida Am, which not only provided international cuisine but also served authentic regional and seasonal specialties. The restaurant's al fresco dining option was a lovely touch, allowing us to enjoy the fresh air while savoring delicious meals. The tour desk on the property was convenient for arranging our hiking and cycling expeditions along the easily accessible trails nearby.I particularly liked that each room featured a desk, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom stocked with towels and linens. The soundproofing in the double room ensured a peaceful night's sleep, and the included amenities like a terrace and a coffee shop/cafe made our experience even more enjoyable.I highly recommend Hotel Am Springhorstsee to families looking for a tranquil retreat in a rural Bavarian setting. Whether it's for a reception, event, or private party, this hotel offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience.
